Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are available for sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its greatest innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste many other robots are unable to avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you photos of any object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas you don’t wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it by voice.

The design is also more appealing than the other models. It features a sleek, top piece that resembles a toy rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System is self-emptying which is great to speed up cleaning.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to removed dust, dirt, and pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one place rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It was able to collect sand, small gravel and even a little grit. Most robots could not do this. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shed.

The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it cannot clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and vacuum. It's not too expensive, and the iRobot application makes it user-friendly.

Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that utilize robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to know whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the ideal choice. This type of robot typically includes a built-in water tank which means they can mop and vacuum your home simultaneously. They also have a range of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacles avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not disappoint. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save hundreds of dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation system is also excellent, with few misses along walls or in corners.

The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and adjust your home map or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also features an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when you're setting up schedules or adjusting settings. This isn't a necessary feature for everyone however it can help you keep the track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design is among the top in the market however it's quite expensive.

Its base station looks good and hides it when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. The station's main selling point is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot fully charged and clean.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tried that does an excellent job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of your home.  read full article  can't navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and it doesn't have an dock that allows the user to set up an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

While it doesn't offer as many in terms of cleaning-related options in its app or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price tag.

If you're looking to cut costs or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive and has many more features, like stair climbing and a full-function Dock, with a better overall vacuuming experience on bare floors, low-pile carpets and even high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that have the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on carpets and hard floors, as well as mopping capabilities for a low cost. It's easy to set up simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be placed near an outlet and have enough space to move.

The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to be placed under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral fashion over two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The main characteristic that sets the G30 apart from its competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to make an image of the immovable objects in its path. It remembers the items it has cleaned and where it cannot access. When it needs to recharge, it returns to its starting point and begins cleaning where it left off.

The elegant G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on bare flooring or carpet with a low pile. It has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require more emptying. It also has boundaries that prevent it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with heavy materials like cereal.
